Sushibar Atarashii in the LOEB department store in Bern: symbolism meets modern design

A sushi bar without Asian clichés: In this design, I chose concrete, orange and black instead of classic red and gold. The interior is reduced, exclusive, modern — and subtly captures Japanese symbolism. Planning, materials, lighting and seating elements were precisely coordinated to visually underline the culinary experience. A clear design for one of the best sushi restaurants in Bern.

“Between concrete, light and color, a quiet homage to Japanese culture unfolds”

Projects

My work ranges from private homes to exclusive hotels and public buildings. Each project starts with an intensive exchange: What atmosphere should be created? Which functionality is needed? From initial sketches to material selection to final implementation, I support the entire process.
